Deviation to the above standards are in terms of height. A M10 nut is 10mm high.

Materials

Made of thermoplastic material LUPOX GP-1001FD (Non reinforced, Fire retardant, Impact modified Polyester) The Aaveds nut™ is considerably lighter than its steel counter parts. With its larger base and greater elasticity, the Aaveds nut™ distributes load over a greater area, making it possible to use lighter weight components and eliminating the need to reinforce the clamping area.

Thermoplastic material can be engineered for greater hardness or greater resiliency to meet specific application needs. Feel free to let us know about your specific requirements.
