Aaveds nuts speed up the Carlaw Park Re-development

Here are some install shots from a recent successful installation at the Carlaw Park re-development in downtown Auckland. These trays are carrying in the main power cables to the development.

The installers were quite upset when co workers from another site raided the fasteners to use on their own project. The fasteners went to a public swimming pool renovation and were reportedly successful in bringing that job to a timely completion.

F.T.I. Technical Achievement Award.

Jason van Gent our product developer has received the high honor of a Technical Achievement award from Fastener Technology International magazine. FTI is delivered all over the world and is read by more than 13,000 fastener industry personal.

FTI Technical Achievement Awards are given out annually by FASTENER TECHNOLOGY INTERNATIONAL magazine to individuals in the fastener industry that have been responsible for major technical developments relating to making, distributing or using fasteners. The awards honor individuals responsible for major practical technical developments that have improved the way fasteners are made or used and in some cases, how they perform.

Emhart/NASA Tech Briefs Design Contest

The Aaveds nut has recently been recognized for its excellent design by the Create The Future Design Contest.

This competition has been run by Emhart Teknologies in conjunction with NASA's Tech Briefs engineering magazine for the past five years.

It encourages outstanding innovation in product design in areas where innovation can significantly improve quality of life at home, work, and during recreation or travel.

The panel of judges included engineers from companies such as Boeing, Bose, Raytheon Aircraft , Lockheed Martin, and Johnson and Johnson.

516 Engineers from 41 countries entered the 2006 awards.
